We had a lovely Christmas jolly!

An email sent before Christmas to a very dear friend....

Tuesday 22nd December 2015

Many thanks for your Christmas Presents; the gloves are lovely – great for driving! And the Sponge Bob Square Pants model was lovely too. The passport holder with Sponge Bob on the front is great too – where do you find these things?

I do have to confess that the presents were opened somewhat early......

I have six 13 wk old Cairn puppies. Their bedroom is in the office but they maraud throughout the dog house and into the sitting room of an evening. Last night I left them “marauding” whilst I popped shopping. I wasn’t out very long but came back to a rather strange question from Chris.....

He asked “was that a bag of Christmas presents on the bottom shelf in the office”

“Which shelf?” was my reply.....

“The one behind the door and puppy panel”

“The puppy panel that the puppies shouldn’t be able to move puppy panel?”

“that’ll be the one”

Oh......

We went into the office to find six sleeping puppies but evidence of their early Christmas present opening party was everywhere.....

The blue bag was in half – apparently Chris said one puppy was racing around with that..... the yellow tissue paper wrapping up the model was in pieces and in fact one puppy had a small piece stuck to its head..... and the very pretty wrapping paper that you had carefully placed the presents in, was in bits all over the sitting room floor and adorning their bed too! They all looked very pretty – six Cairny Christmas presents a sleeping......

You will be pleased to know that the gloves survived, my new passport holder now (like every pair of shoes I own) has tiny little teeth marks all down the spine – a most decorative addition.  The Sponge Bob model however wasn’t quite as fortunate..... When you wrapped it up – did it have legs? I know that Sponge Bob normally does have two legs but I fear that now, he has none......

The puppies pass on their thanks for your wonderful gifts to them as they had such fun playing with them and I send a big thank you too for buying gloves that the puppies didn’t shred. Sponge Bob legs will I am sure come to light at some point; and for the pass port holder, whenever I travel I will not only think of you but also of the 6 Christmas puppies

Merry Christmas Sue and thanks again

Love Dawn xxx (and the pups!)

Team Carradine wins our 71st CC!!

Saturday 5th December 2015

George winning his 2nd CC at the Midland Cairn club today means that Team Carradine won their 71st CC!!

We are thrilled, delighted and over the moon - thank you to all the judges over all the years - since 1997!!! for thinking so highly of our dogs

We have won CC's with 25 different dogs since we won our 1st CC back in 1997 with Eustace under Judy Parker Tucker at National Terrier

We had shown Cairns for 18 years previous to 1997 and to win our first CC was totally amazing and now to win our 71st - WOW !!!

Carradine achievements over the years couldn't have been gained without our wonderful family and  dear friends - THANK YOU
